  • How do I know whether the buyer received the sale's deliverables?

    Open the sale in My Sales and look at the Deliverables card, in the Sale Information tab. It shows whether the delivery email and the member area access email reached the buyer, and whether they have already joined the community linked to the member area. To find every sale with a problem at once, use the Delivery email, Member area access email and Community filters.

    Before you start: your role needs the View permission on Vendas (see Roles and permissions).

    Check one sale

    1. Open Sales → My Sales and click the sale's Reference.
    2. In the Sale Information tab, scroll down to the Deliverables card. It has one line per item:
      • Delivery email: one per offer in the order (main offer and order bumps) that has deliverables;
      • Member area access email: one per member area the purchase unlocks;
      • Community: one per community linked to those member areas.

    Email statuses

    StatusWhat it means
    Awaiting sendThe email was requested and hasn't gone out yet.
    SentThe email went out and the buyer's provider hasn't confirmed receipt yet.
    DeliveredThe buyer's provider accepted the email.
    OpenedThe buyer opened the email.
    ClickedThe buyer clicked a link in the email.
    Already had accessThe buyer already had access to that member area, so the access email wasn't sent again.
    Marked as spamThe buyer marked the email as spam.
    Not deliveredThe email bounced or couldn't be sent. The reason shows right below.

    Opens depend on the buyer's email app: many block the images that record the open. An email that is Delivered and never Opened may still have been read.

    Community statuses

    StatusWhat it means
    JoinedThe buyer has already joined the community. The date shows next to it.
    Not joined yetThe buyer has access to the community but hasn't opened it yet.
    No accessThe community is linked to the member area, but not to the class the purchase unlocks.

    Find the sales with a problem

    1. In My Sales, click Filter.
    2. Select what you're looking for:
      • in the Delivery email or Member area access email sections: Not delivered, Awaiting send (requested more than 15 minutes ago and still not sent) or No open recorded;
      • in the Community section: Buyer hasn't joined the community yet.
    3. Click Apply.

    The filters apply to the sales where you are the producer.

    What to do when the email wasn't delivered

    1. Check the reason in the Deliverables card. With HardBounce, the address doesn't exist or refuses email, and sending to it again won't help.
    2. Confirm the email with the buyer. If they use another address, link the sale to that address so they see the deliverables in the delivery area: see How do I let a buyer see purchases made with another email?.
    3. When the reason is temporary (for example, SoftBounce, full mailbox), resend the delivery email in How do I resend the deliverables of a sale to the buyer?. The status goes back to Awaiting send and starts showing the new send.

    When the access email already has an outcome (Delivered, Not delivered, Already had access...), resending doesn't send it again: the buyer already has access. The delivery email leads to the delivery area, where they find the same access.

    When the access email is Awaiting send, resending grants member area access, sends the access email again and the status starts showing the outcome: Sent, then Delivered.

    If it didn't work

    • The Deliverables card doesn't show up: the sale has no deliverables that send an email and no community linked to the member area, or it predates send tracking and has no community.
    • The status stayed at Sent: some providers don't confirm receipt. Ask the buyer to check their spam and promotions folders.
    • The sale is a subscription renewal: renewals don't send the delivery email. The status stays on the subscription's first sale.
