How do I sign in to Clickmax with my Google account?
On the login screen, click the Google button and pick your account. If that Google account uses the same email as your Clickmax account, you enter the account you already have, with the same workspaces, and your password keeps working.
Signing in for the first time
- Open the Clickmax login screen.
- Click the Google button, below Log in to Clickmax.
- Pick the Google account in the window that opens.
- Done: the Google account is connected to your Clickmax account and you are signed in.
From then on, the Google button always leads to that same account, even if the Google account's email changes later. Keep me signed in applies to Google sign-in the same way it applies to password sign-in.
This also works if you received an invite or bought access and have not created a password yet: signing in with Google using the same email replaces the first-access link.
Automatic connection by email only happens when Google owns the email: a Gmail account or a company account on Google Workspace. If your Google account uses another email (for example, a personal Google account created with your work email), sign in with email and password, or use Forgot my password, and connect Google in Settings → Profile, as explained below.
When your Google email has no account yet
When sign-up is available, signing in with Google using a new email opens sign-up for your account. Nothing is created until you finish:
- Your profile: the name comes from your Google account and can be edited. The email is your Google account's email and can't be changed here. The phone number is optional. Your Google account photo becomes your profile photo, and you can change it later in Settings → Profile.
- Your workspace, Your business, Goals and Team: the same steps as creating a new workspace.
- On the last step, your account and workspace are created together and you are signed in, already connected to Google.
If you leave halfway or reload the page, nothing is saved: click the Google button again to start over. The account starts without a password. To also sign in with email and password, use Set password in Settings → Profile (see How do I update my personal details and password).
If you see There is no Clickmax account with this Google account email., sign in with email and password or use the invite you received.
Connecting or disconnecting Google later
In Settings → Profile, the Sign-in methods section shows the connected Google account.
- Connect: click the Google button and pick the account. It can be a Google account with a different email, because you are already signed in.
- Disconnect: click Disconnect. If your account has no password yet, the button stays disabled until you set one, so the account is never left without a way in.
Each Clickmax account accepts one Google account, and each Google account signs in to a single Clickmax account. Clickmax support access cannot connect or disconnect Google on your account.
Connections and disconnections show up in the audit log, under Security.
If it did not work
