  • Create discount coupons

A coupon applies a discount — a percentage or a fixed amount — to a product's offers at the checkout. You create and manage coupons inside the product, on the Coupons tab.

    Before you start

    • Being signed in to a workspace with access to Products is enough — coupons need no dedicated role.
    • The product must have at least one offer. Every coupon is tied either to specific offers or to all of the product's offers.
    • The offer's final price after the discount cannot fall below the platform minimum. If it would, the coupon cannot be saved or activated.

    Steps

    1. Open the product and go to the Coupons tab.

    2. Create a new coupon.

    3. Fill in the Coupon Code (DISCOUNT10, for example — no spaces, up to 50 characters). The code is stored in uppercase and must be unique in the workspace.

    4. Select the offers the coupon applies to. Leave it empty, or choose to apply it to all of the product's offers, for it to cover every offer.

    5. Choose the discount type — Percentage or a fixed value — and enter the discount amount (minimum 1).

    6. (Optional) Set the total usage limit and the per-user limit. Leave them blank for unlimited use.

    7. (Optional) Turn on a validity period and set the start and End date. Without scheduling, the coupon is valid immediately and stays active until you deactivate it.

    8. In Who can use, choose who can apply the coupon at checkout:

      • Any buyer — anyone with the code can use it (default).
      • Email list — paste or type the allowed emails, one per line or separated by commas. Only those emails can use the coupon; letter case does not matter. Up to 5,000 emails per coupon.
      • Buyers of other offers — select one or more offers from the workspace, including other products. With two or more, choose Bought any of them or Bought all of them. Only paid purchases count: refunded or pending purchases (unpaid Pix/boleto) do not unlock the coupon. Offers that receive the discount cannot be required.
      • CRM list contacts — choose one or more CRM lists or segments. Anyone whose email belongs to a contact in one of them can use the coupon. Segments update on their own, so a contact that just joined a segment may take a few minutes to be allowed. If the list or segment is deleted, it is removed from the coupon.
        • Create without leaving the coupon: type a name in the field and click Create list “…”, or use Create segment to set up the filters right there. A new list starts empty: the note below the field has an Open list in CRM link so you can add contacts. A new segment takes a few minutes to be calculated.
        • Check who will use it: each selected list or segment shows below the field with its contact count. Click See examples to see a few names and emails without leaving the coupon. Contacts without an email cannot use the coupon, since checkout matches by email.

Restriction types do not combine: a coupon uses only one of them (email list, required offers or CRM lists).

    9. Create the coupon.

In the coupon table you can Copy code, edit, activate, deactivate and delete each one. Restricted coupons show a Restricted label next to the code.

    How it works at checkout

Buyers can apply the coupon before entering their email — including through the coupon link. If the coupon restricts who can use it, the discount shows with the note Discount confirmed once you enter your email. As soon as the buyer enters their email, the coupon is checked again: if the email is not allowed, the coupon is removed, Invalid coupon appears and the total goes back to full price. At purchase, the rule is always checked against the buyer's email.

    Automatic application

Restricted coupons (email list, buyers of other offers or CRM lists) apply on their own: when the buyer enters an email that is eligible, the discount shows up in the summary with the note Applied automatically for your email, with no code to type.

    • If the email is eligible for more than one coupon of the offer, the one with the largest discount wins.
    • If the buyer already applied another coupon (typed or from the link), it is only replaced when the automatic one gives a larger discount.
    • The buyer can remove the automatic coupon; it does not come back for the same email.
    • It works even when the coupon field is hidden on the offer.
    • Any buyer coupons are never applied automatically — they still need the code.

In the coupon table you can Copy code, edit, activate, deactivate and delete each one.

    If it didn't work

    • The code is already in use — coupon codes must be unique in the workspace; pick another.
    • The coupon cannot be saved because the discount would take an offer's final price below the minimum; reduce the discount or remove the offer that does not fit.
    • A buyer sees Invalid coupon on a restricted coupon — check that the email typed at checkout is the one on the list or the one used to buy the required offer, and that this purchase is paid.
    • "A required offer cannot also be an offer that receives the discount" — remove the offer from one of the lists (coupon offers or required offers).
    • The coupon will not save without an offer — link at least one offer, or select all of the product's offers.
